All aboard the hype train, folks - but let me warn you, I think the next stop is crushing disappointment.
I think this hype train will punch people in the face ....but meh ...it's always good to have hope
Warning: Spoilers inside!
Earthbound?! choo choo in your face fanboy!
I see very little chance of this considering the history Nintendo has when it comes to the Mother/Earthbound series, All a man can do is dream!
CHOO CHOO! All aboard, and get your tickets ready!
I know you may have heard the wii u could be saved by first party Nintendo, but this is certainly not what we had in mind...
This must be fake an error. There is a higher chance we see Shenmue 3, Half-Life 3, and/or Kingdom Hearts 3 get released and localized.
Is not fake as you can go to Amazon UK and find the listing. You mean an error on Amazon
Earthbound 64 U?
I WANT TO BELIEVE.
Maybe amazon will also sell the virtual console version and the price is just an error.
Darn. The Wii U has piracy but not actual homebrew or game mods. Almost zero chance you'll get to play it in English.
If a Mother 4 is to be made (would be ridiculous to have a port of Earthbound on the SNES for that price), I would say "Mother of god."
On a similar note, Mirror's Edge 2 apparently got listed recently too.
Is anybody else wondering if Amazon just screwed up and whoever listed it meant to list the Wii U eshop title but just saw Earthbound - Wii U and guessed on the price?
MILLIONS ARE DEAD, PEOPLE! MILLIONS ARE DEAD! ;O;
I hope Nintendo does the right thing. Why is it so hard for them to understand that people really wanna buy this game.
Because, on the whole, people don't. Earthbound has a very vocal fandom, but it's a loud minority. Outside of the cult following, not many people really know (or care) about the Mother series.
Nintendo didn't even think it would be profitable to localize Mother 3 for the GBA. I doubt they're going to see much money in developing an entirely new game from the ground up.
Let the disappointment begin.
