Hacking Earthbound (Mother 2) on SnesDS - need help

Has anybody gotten this to work on SnesDS? On the compatibility list it says it does, but I can't seem to make it work. I patch and boot it and get 2 black screens on both my Supercard SD and my Xrom. Any help or experience would be appreciated.

I got it to work on my SC and EZ3 monthd ago.It took me 3 hours of random tweaks for it to work.I cant remember how i did it,but it never saved.It did,but the .sav didnt stay for more then 15 mins =/
