I DID NOT MAKE THIS. This was made by aagellag ages ago who seems to have not made a release thread here. I would not usually make a thread for somebody else's release but I am seeing this game requested constantly. People don't seem to realse that a port already exists.

    Github - https://github.com/aagallag/DXX-Switch
    Release thread - https://www.reddit.com/r/SwitchHack...switch_source_port_of_descent_i_for_nintendo/

    Download - https://github.com/aagallag/DXX-Switch/releases

EDIT - I have attached some icons which can be added to the .nro files using NRO Asset Editor.

How does a gem like this stay hidden for that long? Thanks for bringing this to light!

It's over a month old so software. Framerate still seems fine though.

Spotted this on reddit a while ago, very interesting. The author has been pushing commits this month so hopefully more improvements to come, but if anyone's motivated to do some pull requests, a lot of those issues/missing features look pretty doable.

Does anyone have videos or screenshots of this in action? Don't have a Switch to test it on, but am considering trying to port this to the Vita :D

Works fine. Haven't tested Descent II yet though.

Cool this port was really expected, I wonder how it took so long to appear over here.

That's great, nmkd, thanks. Looks really good. Are you getting 60 fps with that?

Every time I try to run this, it makes me restart my Switch, giving an error...

Descent 2 works great as well btw. I hope the joysticks get support as that would make controls so much better.

Dude I am so +1 on that. Also the option to invert the camera controls. I would be willing to put a bounty or donation on that.
