Hacking dvdx for wiigater 0.3 possible?

Just wondering if the lack of dvdx could be the cause of the errors on de blob and star wars among others when using wiigater 0.3. This seems to be the one thing that is missing since the cios update. I ask because when using wiigater 0.1 with cios rev6 i can load 1:1 but no patched games. de blob 1:1 does the same disc retry on both loader versions, but the patched did not on 0.1 when implementing dvdx. The same thing for Star Wars.
