Hi I want to play a DVD on my wii, an actual film not an avi or similar video file burnt to a DVD. I have read up and this seems possible witht he Mplayer and DVDx. At the moment I have the homebrew channel installed via the Twilighthack and the gamma loader that quite happily plays my backed up Call of Duty World at War.
I would like to know if installing DVDx / Mplayer will intefere with the Gamma loader and or prevent me from playing my backed up discs. Secondly is it possible for DVDx to brick my wii on install? Thirdly will this actually play proper DVD discs/backed up movies. I don't mean burnt avi files either I mean proper cretail copies of films.
