Do people even use DVD +R ? I burn all movies and other things with DVD -R never even purchased a stack of DVD +R 's or know what purpose they served in the first place.

I hope your stack of +'s work. Good luck

im fairly sure +s dont 'use up the laser more', although id hate to run out of laser!
heres an article describing the technical differences between the two http://www.cdfreaks.com/article/203-Why-DV...rior-to-DVD-RW/
in my own experience i use mostly +s but have used -s before without issue, for data and wii backups
basically as long as you buy good media (verbatim) and have a decent somewhat recent burner (handles both + and -), it shouldnt make the slightest difference

wow, too much test too read lol.
i used to use -s because they are the only ones i had. there were lots of problems such as failed at burning... wasted lots of dvds for 1 game. they were datawrites btw. so i decided to use usb loaders. saves time.
