i have just burnt a backup on a dvd+r which works is there a reason to do them on dvd-r
are you modded? if so keep using them.....if your using softmod your pretty look its reading them ok,
-R are the best discs for the wii to use, but if +R are good for you keep using them! and don't listen to what others say

If the disc quality is good, it doesn't matter.
I'm using TDK DVD+R discs for all my games, never had a failed disc.

I'm using Verbatim DVD+R and, so far, everything's fine. Well, maybe one game did not work... but my DVD writer "choked" during the writing session, so it's probably its fault, no the DVD's.

I've been using DVD+R since I modded my Wii and burned about 11 games already no problems cuz thats all I had. I did run out and get some DVD-R tonight tho just cuz - seems to get the better rep.

DVD+R works perfectly well on the Wii, especially so when bitset to DVD-ROM.

I've been using DVD-R's & DVD+R's with no problem.

I did, however, see that Dynex DVD's dont work. Nor will DVD-/+RW's.

I've got a collection of backups on Tesco DVD+Rs. £1 for 4...cheap as chips. Only had problem with one disk. And that was probably down to my crappy PC.

I use DVD-Rs to load custom Guitar Hero games because everyone says not to use DVD+Rs but I can't prove that since I've never tried that.
