i use memorex dvd+r for everything i have for the wii. never had a problem once.

buy the cheapest media you can find , as for changing book types , I'm not sure all burners support it. so save yourself the hassle and buy -r disks .....as for burning speed burn as fast as you can .... I promise you , you will not get a disks that works buy burning it at 16x vs 4x all you will do is waste your time
