Hacking Dvd drive protected?

I just softmod a friend's wii : a 4.0E

I used bannerbomb to install hackmii boot

First : i can"t install it in boot2 : "the installed boot1 version prevents a boot2 install"

So I install HBC and dvdx

I install waninkoko's cios rev14 and softchip r99 and neogamma R6/7/8b1

every time i try to launch a dvd game copy i get on softchip an "ioctl error"
and an error with a different code each time in neogamma.

I try dvd+r, dvd-r, dvd+rl. No way to launch game by the dvd drive.

Then i try an usbloader : everything goes fine.

Some WIIs have a drive that don't read burned games without a proper modchip.
