I am trying to revive a Wii that I had softmodded years ago. The DVD drive was bad so I replaced it and it's working now. I have Bootmii and priiloader working and HBC. I can get in to the system menu but I can't open any apps or games from the system menu including Wii settings, it just shows a black screen with the music still playing.

I have gone through the modmii tutorial and run syscheck and updated everything according to modmii, but it still won't load any games. This includes both the original DVD and backed-up games off of USB loader and they all freeze after launching the game (multiple games tested) . I think I followed the steps to reinstall the system menu but nothing changed. Any suggestions are appreciated. Here is my latest syscheck:

A lot of the feedback we get here is that when re-connecting hardware, it's not done correctly.
Worth double checking (thoroughly). Also, worth checking if the replacement drive is/was compatible with what you've done now. It's not as simple as mix-n-match.

Strange that ModMii didn't correct your problems. It's usually a massive problem solver !

Also, check your folder & file titles, & make sure you ticked the Wii games in GX.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up completely making a new nand.bin with the ohneschwanzenegger tool and restored the Wii and now everything is working as expected. dvd and USB loader games now working great!
