TT^TT Holy crap! Not good! My left hinge is starting to crack...its not broken yet, just a hairline fracture...Any way to fix this puppy? ((With the exception of buying a replacement case))

The DSL only has one hinge... maybe you can try using a bit of superglue. Or send it in to Nintendo.

You'll have to send it to Nintendo if you don't act fast. I recommend calling them if the hinge starts loosening up a bit (Does your screen seem a little more floppy than it used to be?) as that's a sign that it might snap soon. I'm on my 3rd DSL, as mine has broken twice and I've had to send it into Nintendo.

My hinge has been cracked for a few months now. I called Nintendo about it and they said I had to pay some huge fee so I said screw it.

if u try to fix it yourself, you'll void warranty.
mine cracked before (lite) but i didnt send it back and it didnt grow more. (i can link pix if u want) but when i contacted nintendo, they didnt talk about fee since its proved that left crack hinge is nintendo's fault.

Started happening to DSlite as well. Which was one of the first batch, sorta sucks. Is it from opening and closing a lot, or is it just made poorly?

So the Warranty is still good for the Cracked hinge problem? Because My DSlite's top screen IS very loose x.x

I think when you first buy it you have a year warranty after that it's just gone, but I'm not entirely sure.
