I was seeing this photo of DSi disassembled,
dsi_mainboard_back.jpg
and I saw four connectors:
  • SPI_MOSI
  • SPI_MISO
  • SPI_SCK
  • SPI_CS
near the memory chip (Samsung moviNAND), and I remembered that those names is from a electronic data communication protocol: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_Peripheral_Interface_Bus

Is those pins really for CPUMemory communication? And if yes: it's possible to dump DSi data & firmware?
 
Why do you have to make a thread title that sounds like you found a solution, when you really just ask a question based on (vague) assumptions?
