It just needs to be recompiled with the latest libnx.
It is recompiled. See the message a few posts above:
Yes.

New release. Changes:
  • updated to SVN r8093 (thanks to parkerlreed for that);
  • rebuilt with latest libnx.

I've had one user report this before. Maybe this is your issue?

Your Eduke32 runs fine ( and thank you! ), but the Ion Fury posted a few more posts back, seems to need the TLC of newer libnx.

Yep I was doing that before this latest release to have music at all, I thought it would be cooler to use the in-game midi now though, especially for expansions or mods.
Today done some homeworks and research. I took the amazing Patch93's Roland SC-55 Sound Canvas V2.2 soundfont converted to sf2 then converted to pats (patches) and slightly edited timidity.cfg and it worked great you will surely hear the difference. No more need to autoload sc-55 audio files and the soundfont will work on all expansions or mods. Made a pack for you all just delete and replace timidity folder and .cfg in eduke32's folder.
Mirror:
Code:

I only packed this, the real credits go to Patch93 from doomworld forum for creating such a good sc-55 soundfont.
Enjoy!

You can probably run every one of those addons (except ones that require Polymer) but there's no launcher or anything, so you'll have to manually configure EDuke to launch them, for example by placing one at a time in the autoload folder.

Hi it's me again, I suppose you understood that duke nukem 3d it's one of my all-time favorite games. In latest release of eduke32 (r8093) there is a game breaking bug in E1L4 Toxic Dump that make impossible to go ahead and finish the level. To go ahead I had to rollback to 8040 build. Looked at svn and seems that it was fixed in r8117. Now since the r8040 build doesn't use latest libnx it's not long-term supportable for the future we'll need a rebuilt r8040 with latest libnx or if it is possible an update >r8117. @fgsfds and @parkerlreed What do you think?

Check for eduke32.log in the eduke32 folder. If it's there, post contents.

That's interesting. Did you by any chance copy the .CON files along with the .GRP? Try deleting them.

No. This is the org. Duke 3D Atomic Edition Grp file.

Quite weird. If there are external .CON files that come with Atomic Edition, can you try also copying them to the folder then?
