found this forum and absolutely loving it. duckstation works way better than RetroArch on my switch. no lag, very smooth.

appreciate someone here to share the best settings? i am currently playing xenogears and i saw a youtuber tweak the settings and it looks amazing.

Hi guys.
Have been out of the Switch scene for a while (fw 16) and just coming back into it now.
Tried to run Duckstation on Atmosfear 1.8 and FW 18.10 & crashes as soon as I run it from the HB Menu.
Switch is on Sysnand cfw (will be changing in the near future) .
Is anyone able to offer and advice on how to solve?

hold R on any Game Title to launch homebrew

Thank you for this release.

I have a question - in terms of performance, some games dip. Can dips be alleviated with use of emulated CPU overclock without the need for overclocking Switch CPU? Sled Storm for example drops just slightly. Thank you for answer.

AIUI this will depend on whether a real PS1 would struggle to keep up. If so, overclocking the emulated PS1 should help. But if this maxes out the Switch, you will need to OC the Switch too.

Can you run StatusMonitor and DuckStation's CPU metrics at once? You want to make sure that neither of them hit 100%, as then you will get slowdown.

Makes sense, I will try that thanks!

I noticed the game-speicific controller remap does not work. The does save the data to a game-specific ini profile file and clearly loads it back when the app is launched since prior remaps are reloaded correctly in the game's settings, but they don't seem to be actually used by the emu when the game is running.
This is a pain. I bought a flip grip to play Raiden Project in it's "Horizontal" mode when direction controls require to be rotated 90° when using the flip grip, but seems like the emu won't actually use any remap.

Would it be possible to update the port? They removed support for achievements through retroachievements.
