Hacking DStwo icon does not show up after exiting DStwo

At the menu page of the DStwo screen, I will press on the home button and 'A' button to exit to my 3DS XL home screen. However, after exiting, the DStwo icon does not show up. Is this the right way to exit from the Dstwo??

Though I could restart my 3ds or remove and insert the DStwo back in again but is there other way to do it or is there something wrong with my system or flash card?

Need some help here TY >.<
