Hacking DStwo as SNES emulator, it really works?

Hey everyone,
I am not into SNES scene, there was just one game ( for now) that caught my interest. It unofficial fan made sequel of Chrono Trigger, Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes, and I wanted to try it on emulator. I tried to run it on my r4 clone, but it was very slow and unplayable.

So my question is,will this game work on DStwo, as this flashcard has its native emulator, whatever that means?

There is a SNES emulator for the DSTwo, the unofficial being a lot better than the official.

I haven' tested those games myself personally, but I've heard they work. I know from my experience, the emulator has been one of the best SNES emulators on the DS.
