So I was browsing the DSTT website and wanted to know if they had released an update. Surprise surprise...no they hadn't. But I decided to be a bit sneaky and see if there was an in development build or something so I did some file sniffing and found a v1.08 folder which had the chinese version of a new TTMenu OS (only Chinese so far). On closer and easier inspection I see the its released on the Chinese version of the website as of today (might have saved me some hassle

).

Changelog (google translate):

* Information support to the upgrading of 1981
* Amendments to the 1981 cease response after filing interface issues
* File name, extension no longer distinguish between upper and lower case
* A menu on the NDS entered standby mode
* SELECT ALL function Goldfinger (Y \ X button)
* L button menu brightness adjustment

Good news I guess, especially about the file name extension no longer distinguishing betwen upper and lower case, that fixes the Contra 4 issue. I'll post it on the portal once the english release comes out.

Anywho, if you want to fiddle with it: Download

Just testing it out now.

You can cycle through the DS's brightness setting by pressing L on the menu. Pressing X and Y in the list of cheats selects them all as on or turns them all off. One or two changes to the skin. There is an icon on the top screen if you have the GBA expansion pack inserted.

hope it fixes the major game freezing problem when loading

this means that DSTT is still alive & kicking

hope they add R shoulder button to go into next page of games list.

Opium, did they fix paging problem? like when you press right, it doest go to second page but 5th game.

and sometimes you have to press A button 2 times to get a game running.

hope those two got fixed and thy add R for browsing pages.

If someone who has it could upload to either the downloads center or SendSpace.com, that would be fantastic.

That's because it's just a preview, it's not the completed update. Says so right on the site.

Urza, as soon as I've finished downloading it off of their POS 4kb/s connection, I'll upload it to this site's download section.

Yeah, I noticed that when I went to open the file after uploading it. It finished without error on my end, so I didn't think anything of it. My bad. >.<

I resumed it and am waiting for it to finish now. Should only be a couple minutes, it's at 78%.
