hi,I just bought a new dstt, I loaded 1.16 plus a few roms, when i turn my ds on, dstt screen comes on and game menu appears, then when i choose a game it says (rom loading failed) ttmenu.sys error please reset system. i have alredy formated the sd card, more than once, and i've tried it in my other dstt card with no problems all the games work, if i put that sd card in my "new" dstt only mario kart loads even if i choose any other titles. Really hoping that somebody else has seen this problem and can help me out. thank you.

Always following these rules:
  • Always format your microSD card using the Panasonic formatter.
  • Always put your games and save files into a "games" folder and not on the root of your microSD card.
  • Always leave plenty of free space on your microSD card for system files and save files.
  • Always use "safely remove hardware" before removing your microSD card from your PC to avoid corruption.
You should also check to see if your DSTT is real or fake. Grab this download: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=4086

Run DsttFlashChecker to see if you have a real or fake DSTT.

If it's fake, your DSTT may have been destroyed by the 1.16 firmware. Run the DsttFlashWriter program to recover your DSTT, then immediately replace your TTMENU.DAT with the one included in the archive (it's patched to disable the fake-killer code).

OK, reformat your microSD card with the Panasonic formatter.

Grab version 1.16 of the official firmware from the ndstt.com website. Install the TTMENU folder on your microSD card BUT DO NOT INSTALL TTMENU.DAT FROM THE OFFICIAL FIRMWARE (it contains fake-killer code).

Copy all four files from this archive to the root of your microSD card: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=4086

Make a new folder on your microSD card named "games" and put two games (.nds files) into the folder.

Run "safely remove hardware", hilight your microSD reader, and press STOP.

Insert the DSTT into the NDS and the microSD card into the DSTT and turn it on.

Run DsttFlashChecker to see if you have a real or fake DSTT.

If it's fake, run DsttFlashWriter to recover your DSTT.

Then try to run one of the games.

Had exact same issue the other day. Wound up being the DX.COM Kingston 2 Gb micro sd cards I had just received. Tried a different brand of micro card (sandisk) and all the problems went away.
