Hacking DSTT infolibs

If you think about it, there's no reason why he SHOULD give you any information.

Its no where to be found, theres only three people that i know of who have descovered how to obtain the information, and they've told nobody. ANYONE should be able to make this information, or atleast, anyone dedicated enough. but when this information is NOWHERE, you become dependent. and that dependancy has just quit.

Retro was taught by Pong, and Pong doesnt care to help me out either, and he was likely taught from someone else. What are you telling me to do, ShadowSoldier, Give up? Because its clear the rest of you have.

No, I'm saying figure it out for yourself and don't rely on other people. Then when someone says shit to you, you can rub it in their face. Clearly if someone learned it by themselves, another can too. You're just not looking in the right place.

I have been attempting to do so, for about two days now, and i am still trying at this very moment.

I'm not good at giving up, but i am about to reach my limits on what i know to check. I would rather not ask anyone for help, but thats what its come to. If no one else can inform me of where to look or what to do, then the DSTT is doomed.

I'm not in this for bragging rights or anything like that, i want to further the DSTT's lifespan. its nobody elses fault that everyone keeps quiting on it Lol.

Bunie, at least get your facts correct before you decide to post...Pong taught me nothing.

Also, while we are on facts, I was not the person that banned you initially from the site that I was posting updates on...I was the one to ban you, the second time, for having made multiple accounts which is against the rules on that site. I didn't make that rule but I do abide by it.

I'm saying unless someone does, Yes. Not me specificly, but i have seen no one else even bother with it. my DSTT (And DS, for that matter) Sat on my shelf untill RGF came around. if no one is fixing The (E) or (U) roms, then unless we all learn Japanese, we cant expect any future updates.

Well I can tell you that he taught me jack squat....only thing Pong knows how to do is copy fixes from other people...why do you think Pong's rule was 'moan about a fix and it will be delayed'??? Because he doesn't know how to fix games...it's about time these things were put into perspective....

And to all the others: Well, Retro is not just a DSTT coder... He developed cheat codes for the DS as well.

But one thing we must do in the future is: To protect our community developers more. Speaking of Retro, of course.

Nommatt or YWG don't have to explain what their're doing for Wood or Akaio all the time. Everybody knows that, and both are protected by their community.

But DSTT community didn't really protect Retro. We have to change that.

@Bunie: I'd really ask you to stop that now. I can send you an AK2i for free, and then you can go and discuss with Normmatt, OK?

I don't know why people complain. The easiest solution is to get another card. the AK2i is cheap , the R4 is even cheaper at a few dollars. I have both but my boy uses the DSTT. Once the update stops then I'll move him to my other cards.

I'm just thankful for any updates from Retro, Pong, anybody.

Anybody tried contacting this Rudolph mate? Maybe he'll just give a hint to hack infolib.dat, since Bunie is having a way finding out about extinfo.dat

What I really think is that drwhojan's idea to emulate the behavior of the cart is the key to search infolib stuf... Or... maybe watching some booting info used by other carts... maybe not. This is just nuts, I wonder how selftaught guys like retro managed to do it.
