Hardware DSpico released

I wouldn't instantly buy this flashcart yet, maybe wait until further progress is made. A flashcart isn't complete without better game compatibility and support for kernels like TWiLight Menu++. Most of them on the market, mainly consisting of clones, are good as is.

Maybe they'll support TWLmenu in the future? I did a small amount of research and it turns out they were the first people to find the TV-out on the DS lite. I think we're in better hands compared to something like the EZ-flash carts

I’m getting a bunch of shells printed out in the US if anyone, interested in the project wants one.

Looking into getting a batch of the PCBs made, as well :)

I understand it's an open source cartridge, which I absolutely love, but is there a recommended place where I can simply buy this pre-manufactured?

Not as of right now, your best shot is joining a group buy or waiting on stores to produce their own batches

I am pricing out batch orders now. Just waiting on a local company to get back to me before throwing money at PCBWay

Waiting on my buddy with a resin printer for the shell cost since my FDM one wont cut it.

twlmenu can run on your electric toothbrush if it supports DLDI, which DSpico does.
I knew about DLDI, but I didn't know this was possible; that's cool. How well does the DLDI driver perform overall in terms of read speeds and homebrew compatibility, has this been concluded as of right now?

Waiting on a PCB quote still

But I can provide the top and bottom shells to folks within the US for $10 shipped

But I need a batch of 25 to fit my build plate first to hit that price point. So if anyone would like a resin printed shell. My DMs are open!

Thanks for sharing this. I'd definitely be interested in buying one if there's a group buy, etc.

You ever get a quote? I'd be interested in getting one. Even if it was on the higher side.
