Homebrew DSOrganize 3.3:HE Developer Thread

Because Nintendo changed something in hardware in the DSi. DsOrganize partially works for now. Wifi and the touch screen is stuffed up.

Even on 3.1129, if I do too much renaming it'll convert some random filenames here and there into those uppercase eight-character FILENA~1.TXT. I also can't make new VCards, or update the ones that are on there. I've had to make them in a text editor and upload those files onto my card.

uhh can we all stfu for like abit? everyone here so far has been whineing about " waaaaaa no new posts, no progress waaa waaa waaa waaa....." jezz just shut ur mouth for a bit and wait for devolpment
i mean, its not like heroo has abanded this project, hes probably working on it, jezz. For all the whiners that keep saying "why isnt there been an update?!?!?!?!?!"

Um, not to disappoint you zeromac, but I was on the Dev team with Heeroo.
I'm pretty sure that this project has gone belly up.
Heeroo has lost contact with everyone, he is probably embarrassed.
I agree, this post should be lost, if anything, it will just make it worse for everyone.
All hope is pretty much lost by now, I said I may fix it, but I honestly don't have the time.
I'm busy with other things at the moment.

yep.. if you can't do a print "Hello World" to the screen, then you gotta wonder what your knowledge is.

anyways..

DSO is not working 100% with the new DSI, due to new hardware. since DSI has more of that type of utlils in it already (or you can get it for
DSI) then DSO is pretty much useless. but that's my thought about it.

for a file commander there are plenty of other tools, that does work 100%.
Like i said in other posts and what other are saying,
if you do too much in dso it will switch too 8.3 filename mode instead of 256 mode.
that's how your FAT is getting corrupted.
Since DSO is pretty complex created, it's hard to find the correct spots.
Since i'm in a good mood, i checked some of my backups, but don't have the new FAT layout anymore

guess didn't made it to a backup after my ranting several pages back.

Will download the sources again, and work on it, whenever i have more time.
my DSromOrganizer has more priority at this moment.
and please don't bug me with "please add all the latest high tech, encoders, wii, ps2,ps3, vista options in it"
the DS is pretty basic, and willing to redo the filebugs and some other issues for now. Ask about an update in about a month orso..

Though we didn't have that "std::" in front. I think we included stdlib.h or whatever.
