*Plate of Food*
I'm totally going to eat this plate of food.

Personally, if you take such an interest in a random, anonymous person's work that their discontinuation breaks your heart, you've invested far too much in them, emotionally.
Besides, some of you are acting like Heeroo actually started something. While some ideas are awesome, you know there's something wrong if you're falling to the floor and writhing in ecstasy at the mere thought of something happening.

Also: If someone starts a project and then doesn't complete it, either because it's too hard, because they lose interest, or even because they're completely incompetent, it really has nothing to do with you. They aren't quitting because they feel superior. At worst, all the disparaging comments sap the enjoyment out of programming, and they stop developing because it's just not fun, anymore. As was mentioned, they aren't getting paid.
I won't tell you to just shut up and be happy to get anything, but I will say that you should encourage good work from the developers. Human psychology is a very powerful thing.

...I'm not going to eat this food.

I never trusted Heeroo since he didn't seem responsible enough to do this anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me.

And, I think that by arrogant nonnonnon was referring to Normmatt's elitist comment about how developers are gods and should never be judged by us n00b slaves.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I'm not saying we're gods just that you shouldn't judge us when you cant do anything to help and most n00bs simply bitch about broken features (draining the fun from the project). We're not here to listen to you bitch and complain all that does is make us angry and makes us lose interest that much quicker and in the end many projects die because its users make it so.

No, I was replying to DarkSunDS. He was the one saying stuff.
He's full of anger and hate. On the path to the dark side, he is.
(Or maybe that's why his name is 'DarkSunDS')

i did not refer to normmat

he is great.
i really don`t want to be a target for every coder out there, so just look at me as the unknowing fool i am

I downloaded the DSOrganize V3.2 and it just totally messed up my MicroSD Card (4GB). I worked well for the first two times but the third time when I inserted the MicroSD Card into the DSTT and put that in my DS, it said "No Card". I then put the MicroSD Card in my computer via the MicroSD Card Reader and the computer couldn't read it at all. So, it couldn't even fix this problem by formatting the MicroSD Card. So, basically everything got deleted permanently. If anyone has any suggestions or facts that will reduce or stop the chances of this happening to me again if I download the DSOrganize again, please tell me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Sorry, have been busy with my own program.
about to release it later this week.

anyways... it's been 3-4 weeks later after my last post in this thread, and no Heeroo what so ever..

Guess you all see now that it was just a hype.

osimo and me did a bunch of work, and we were both used, as far as I'm concerned with it.
After reading that DSO is not workiing on the new DSI. ( different touchscreen and bigger)
i'm thinking that it's just a waste of time to keep hoping for a new version.
But that's my opinion.

Is there actually more Resistive Touch span on the DSi? I know the pixels are still the same, even if the screen is bigger (frankly, I find that annoying).
Frankly, I'd still love to see you team up with some of the others to finish bringing it up to the current year. Not the whole re-do that was originally 'planned', of course, but I think the FAT was the most volatile part of it.

You'll want to use 3.1126. It's much more stable.

not sure if its been mentioned but ds organize doesn't work on my dsi. I can use the buttons but the touch screen wont work. Im using an ak2i btw. Also adding a video player plugin would be nice (mabye tuna-vids)

that's what i just mentiod in my previous post.
DSI is more multimedia already, so not much of a big deal.

I'm using 3.1129 atm ... on an Acekard 2i. I've tried the browser stuff etc (moving/deleting/cut/paste etc) and everything seems to work quite fine. Also used almost all the programs (except homebrew thingy), and I don't launch any other homebrew from it ... just using it as a PDA program. I did Chkdsk /f a lot and it seems it's actually stable.

Which actions actually do corrupt the file system? Or is everyone who experiences problems on 3.2?

when files in general are getting modified or moved around with DSO.
Cut / paste is the biggest problem. Esp. if you cut and forget to paste. then your card is wrecked pretty much instantly

uhhh my touch screen can't be used on all versions. anyone know why? im on ak2i with 8gb sdhc
