My niece just got a DSiXL and I gave her my old EZ Flash Vi and 4GB microSD card. I tested it, worked fine, so I decided to update the firmware and kernel. It had firmware 103 and kernel 2.0 RC16, now it's on firmware... I think it was 106A, and kernel 3.0b6. Problem is, now the DS doesn't recognize the card, saying, "There is nothing inserted in the Game Card slot." I've tried it on both my DS and hers; both are system version 1.4.1U. From what I've read, it sounds like the EZVi, with that firmware, requires either system version 1.43.... or a 3DS. I don't want to update either DS to 1.43 just to find out that all flash carts are blocked. So what do I do?

Looks like a bricked ez5i.
The v106a udpate went fine or did you get an error during the long update process ?

Ok. It's bricked then.

You will have to wait for the unbricker. When i get more information about the release date i will post a thread on the USA forum.
