Can anyone tell me what the "enable find patch from file" option under set patch does? I can't seem to find references or any explanation of this option anywhere I look.

IIRC, Find patch from file looks for a patch file in the same folder as your game, with the same filename, to patch the game while loading. Don't ever turn it on because the game will load INCREDIBLY slow.

But why are you using the old OS and not the Evolution OS?

I use both OS3 and EOS on the same card because some options were stripped from EOS. From the look of it this feature was never fully implemented. It appears to work with only one Japanese game. I never noticed it before and curiosity got the better of me.

Well, the reason it doesn't work properly is because it isn't supposed to be used, because the Supercard team releases patches for games ASAP and so you don't ever have to worry about using that option. It's useless.

I'm going to take a guess that it's there mostly for testing individual patches when they're making them to include in the big 'catch all' dsipatch file.
