Hacking DSi XL Update

Hi

I just bought my DSi XL Midnight Blue and it has 1.4U firmware on it. It works fine with Acekard 2i. Now DSi XL says there's software update!! I'm not sure if that'll stop Ackard 2i from working? Anyone ahd any idea on this?

There was a update at Febuary 2010. The update apparently does nothing and its safe. I got an update prompt on my Regular DSi and the update was rather quick. (about 10 seconds) My acekard still works on the update.
