hi.. i am in doubt whether dsi xl will be good or not for reading ebook.
will it be very strain to the eye? i am torn between nook touch and dsi xl.

i sold my dsl 2 years ago and now i'm buying back dsi XL , i know 3ds is dropping its price tmrw but
i just don't feel like buying 3ds. as for nook touch, it can't play games. well it can but in black and white

I absolutely love using my DSlite as a book reader.
Especially with the Supercard DSTwo's "iReader" software.
I can only imagine an XL would make the experience even better.

There is the Nook Color, and it is hackable as far as I'm aware. It also has a wider selection of books to choose from, while the DS has you either choosing from legal media (the Gutenburg Project comes to mind), or even pirating books. I dunno, I just appreciate a dedicated book reader. It is made to be a book reader, and every aspect of the design is built around it. Reading stuff on the DS just isn't good enough for someone like me.

    I reckon Vulpes is right.

But of course a dedicated E-Reader is always better.....
    most of the time.
