Gaming Dsi Problem With Game Cartridges

my cousin had this DSi since long ago, one day it has the problem with running normal dsi cartridges, "hold power button to turn off"
it stayed that way for years, till last week i installed unlauch using memory pit, and i can run roms now from dsi menu ++,
now i have a new problem running dsi cartridges, the console says:"problem with game cartridge can't access save file" but this time the menu of this message is from inside the game, meaning the game started normally, i tried these cartridges on my 3DS and they work fine.

help ?

Hello.

Please try:

Holding the Button"A" and power on your DSi.
In Unlaunch you have maybe at FIRST option the inserted Gamecard/DS Game.


Press "A" and see if this works please.

didn't work, also forget to mention that i installed Hiya cfw.

i googled and found that some people lick the cartridges pins to make them work, i tried, didnt work the i fixed this problem by :

A - opening the dsi screws , i looked inside toward the pins, there were small 2 pins that didnt look like the others, sow i bend them a little to match the others.
then animal crossing game started and had the same problem so i did :

B - clean the cartridge pins.

now they all work fine !
