Having this issue too; using make_cia (after using the other python script to prep it first) but getting an "error has occurred" screen immediately upon run, even when I change the id to something else (ending in something other than 23232323).

Could someone provide an example of a command prompt line they used that ended up working (with any homebrew)?

It's either using arm7 settings that TWL_FIRM doesn't like or you're not using patched TWL_FIRM correctly.

Twl Firm works with the hbmenu, so it might be the arm7... how do you know if a homebrew is compatible?

99.9% of all homebrew need their arm7 patched. So I'm guessing that's the reason.

I patched the TWL_FIRM and had installed the nds-hb-menu-dsi.cia on both NANDs, and I always get an error that tells me to shut down the console whether I use RxTools, AuReiNand, Cakes, or ReiNand.

Does the error display right after you launch from home menu, or does it show black screens for a few seconds?
