games downloaded from dsi shop saved on sd card?

if yes would it posible to copy the dumped rom to sd card and play dsiware?

No chance soldialga, not until we have the DSi common key.
The games themselves are encrypted.

It's to decrypt the DSi's data into a workable state so either:
a. the DSi/Nintendo can use it (the key is built into the DSi)
b. we can hack it

Wikipedia says the DSi has 6 colors. What's the 6th one? Also, I cant find the article about Japan getting the Cyan Blue color same as the US. Thanks

EDIT: Colors are Matte White, Matte Black, Matte Cyan Blue (Blue), Pink, Lime Green, Metallic Blue. Hmmm. So there are 6 colors of the DSi.

Since Dsi is 840mah power
why not upgrade new one with 1800 mAH to make dsi more longer life time play

you can get it in alibaba
to make dsi more longer life time than dsl

Nope, I don't think so. Someone may have to confirm this, however.

Delete me, since I was either seeing things or the guy I was replying to edited his post without warning.

Yah I meant the chord because I don't like how short the charger chord is...I like how the PSP's goes so much longer.

And no I have not seen just a car charger, sorry.
Just for shiggles, tonight I compared the chord length of the charger on the DSL and the DSi, and the DSi chord is actually about 1 - 2" shorter than the DSL. I would estimate it at about 80". Probably a good 30" - 36" shorter than the charger for the PSP 1001.

I have a question about the DSi.

What is the point of the "wireless mode" on/off? It makes no sense why that would be disabled from the main menu rather than enabled/disabled based on the needs of whatever software is currently running.

One can assume (I read this on a few pages on the interweb) that being in "wireless on" mode drains the battery faster. But why should I have to choose that from a menu? I mean, does that mean if I'm suddenly inclined to use a wifi function of a game I'm playing, that I have to reboot to get to the menu so I can change it? Or simply live with it on all the time and suffer shorter battery life all the time?

Someone with more insight please explain this logic to me. Thanks.

That's what I wanted to know as well.
I've read somewhere else, that it actually doesn't really drain the battery life at all (just for the little light bulb which indicates the wifi activation) but I don't really believe that.
And the wifi off thing is just in case, if you're sitting on the plane where wifi activity is not allowed or should be turned off.

Pretty annoying if it would drain battery life by just turning it on because I don't want to decide beforehand if I want to play in wifi mode or not. It should be completely spontaneous. Hrm.

I didn't see this in the FAQ, but it is important to know. I learned of it when I had a bad left shoulder button on my DSi and debated whether to exchange or repair.

Nintendo DSi Ware purchases and your points are tied to that specific DSi. Exchanging at a retail store will result in a loss of your points balance and any downloads you've spent points on. I tried to link another DSi to my Club Nintendo account for an exchange and found that my points balance was the default 1000 and that I was not able to redownload titles I had already purchased.

Bottom line, until Nintendo creates a way to transfer our DSi Ware accounts from an old DSi to a new one, similar to how they handle Nintendo WFC configuration, the only answer is to do a warranty repair through Nintendo (which i did today).

Another thing this brings up is the debate over extended warranties through stores. If they don't have the ability to transfer the DSi Ware points/purchases, then they are even more of a rip off than before.

UPDATE: Spoke to a different Nintendo representative who said that Nintendo CAN transfer points and downloads if you have to exchange your system. But you would have to deal directly with Nintendo yourself and have all information handy (both serial numbers, purchase dates, and club nintendo information).

Too bad the first rep I spoke to didn't make this clear.

I will add a question with this info, thanks.

Q: My screen is yellowish, why is this and what can I do?
A: Apparently you just need to turn down the brightness and it should be all good. (Also keep your DSi away from magnets
wink.gif
) Thanks to noammax for this.
So I've finally been able to compare the DSi and DSL screens next to each other and the DSi is definitely yellowish (tried on Chrono Trigger).
It seems like nothing can be done about it and it appears on all DSi models, right? (I DID try fiddling with the brightness settings but it doesn't really make any difference)

I remember tons of DSL screens were yellowy too, and then when it stopped being yellowy, some people complained about the new white screens not being as sharp or nearly as bright as the yellow ones. And as time passed, talk about it just stopped, I guess people just stopped having older ones to compare.

My bet is that there isn't a win win situation, you have to give up something for something else. I'm quite happy with my DSi screens, the yellow tint is so minor you don't really notice it.

Lol that's funny when you said they kept complaining when they fixed the yellow tint. People just can't stop complaining about something.
