Ok, I'm sick of this...
First I had the R4i not working... next I had the downgrading DSi problem... now... my DSi's battery gone cuckoo...
What I mean is that it closes randomly, even when I charge it 10 hours straight... and then I removed the battery and held the power button almost 60 seconds... then I tried it out... and realized that it doesn't close randomly... it just closes whenever I... pfft, "push" the battery... sometimes it doesn't even turn on...
NOT only that but my L and R buttons sometime slack off... I mean sometimes they don't work, blowing doesn't work... Whenever I push them harder, things get somewhat worse...

PLEASE help... my patience is like waiting on a 1000-people queue...

Any help is appriciated...

Here's the thing.
"Ages" ago, my DSi was OK expect for one thing, Shoulder buttons didn't work. After 5 years, I discovered that blowing the L and R buttons fixed the problem... for a super short period of time... After 2 years, the stupid battery problem occured... and HERE I am today... It's not only the battery, sometimes it's the power button. Why? Because sometimes when it shuts off randomly, the date remains the same and sometimes whenever I put it down on a table, a couch etc. it shuts off (by the power button because the date remains the same...)... Mmmaybe It's because the power button it's near always pressed?
Hope the information helped...

Sounds like a short in the L and R buttons. That can cause random shutoff. Replacing the battery might be an option too, but it just sounds like the short is affecting everything.
