Did anyone ever get this working? Nitro Version 310811 with Direct Boot.. touchscreen not responding - unplayable?

It does not need Direct Boot.
Also, it's currently not compatible.
EDIT: ...or so I thought. :P

btw, please post further issues with TWLMenu++ in the actual thread, and post issues with DS games and old homebrew on the SD card, without direct boot, in the nds-bootstrap thread.

Test the fat version without direct boot .
( worked for me )

You just need to put it in root , and press some buttons to start the game if you get white screen .

Holy smokes! That worked. Had it in /roms/nds/. Thanks so much! Truly one of the best homebrews on DS.

Running fat version from root causes a Guru Meditation Error, but I had success running the Nitro from root with GodMode9i

EDIT: fat version works, you just need to make sure that you copy the whole directory of the fat version, the structure of each version is different

The FAT folder has more content but you can use the FAT folder for the nitro binary, too.

In the next version of TWLMenu++, you can run DScraft (along with portalDS) with direct boot (meaning no nds-bootstrap), and with touch working as well.
The FAT version can be wherever you want as well. I have it working from "sd:/roms/nds".

Hate to clog this thread more, but since you just recently posted, wanted to ask real quick. Does this mean DLDI support is coming in the future?

nds-bootstrap always had a DLDI driver for old homebrew.
Both DScraft and portalDS can read the SD card natively, without a DLDI driver.

Oh, really? Never knew that. Tried getting some of those old Smash fangames made way back for the DS to boot that depended on DLDI, but always ran into issues. Always assumed it was due to no DLDI support. Will have to try getting those running again.

Real quick. How can I run this? Do I need to leave the .nds file in the folder or do I have to take it out of the folder?
