DSATM Not Working?

I have a japanese DSi so I wanted to use DSATM to patch the Sonic Rush games on my r4 to always be English but when I copy and paste the codes, no text appears and no cheats are loaded. Any help?

You should be able to just use the cheat codes directly, afaik DSATM is kinda iffy and basically all flashcards support cheats. You can use r4cce to edit/create the cheat database. Probably best to use DSJ's database as a base, assuming it doesn't already have the code.
