So I've been playing around with some of the ancient demos from past years and I downloaded the "Submarine Tech Demo" from the DSO database. If you haven't played it you basically control a submarine and you have the ability to move it up down and all around. You get torpedos to shoot stuff and it's pretty entertaining. I'm not sure why it never became a game because it's pretty solid for even a demo. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't already.

Problem is it only gives you TWO MINUTES to haul your nuclear ass to the other side of the map. Two minutes is barely enough. You need to completely ignore the ship and the other submarine if you're hoping to finish the game at all. You need to be going forward full steam ahead practically the entire time. It really makes me wonder why the torpedos are even included in the demo. Personally I would rather take my time to blow the enemies to shit rather than run to the goal, but alas I would like to do both.

Upon closer inspection of some IGN screenshots, it shows 10 minutes and 29 seconds remaining on the clock.

How is this possible if the game begins with 2 minutes remaining on the clock?

If anyone has any information. I.E. If there was more than one version of the demo issued, or how to modify the current demo to have adjusted time it would be greatly appreciated.
