Thanks a million, I appreciate that a lot.

Now, the only trouble is, I still need a DLS file for the proper instruments, so I can convert. The song, btw, was 0007.mid, in the main sdat/sequence folder.

I wish for the life of me I could get VGMTrans to work. I downloaded both the C++ and DirectX packages, going from the links on the VGMTrans site, and I've tried both versions. The newer one won't open at all, I get an error reading, "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." And the older version will start, but will not open a file, nor does anything but blank windows show up when I drag&drop.

I did the thing with the ndssndext.exe and got a separate sound_data directory, but when i open it the SEQ folder in that directory, it is empty. there are files in all the other folders but i couldnt find any seq files to use with the sseq2mid thing.
(i don't know if this matters but this is for The World Ends With You)

Sorry for bumping, but I went to the website and I can't find the download link for NDS Sound Extractor. The closest thing seems to be NDS ROM Trimmer.
