Hacking DS savetype Gateway

What savetype is Gateway using for the DS if you want convert on shunyweb?

DS saves and 3DS saves are completely different from each other. Shunyweb wouldn't work with them (Or need to).

.sav should be more or less compatible with any DS mode flash cart out there. What are you trying to convert?

I tried also a pokemon rom that comes with a save even that no luck.
Well I got one working with KH 358/2 days.

Well the Blue card is a clone of an R4i so you should try the "Acekard 2-CycloDS-EDGE-M3 Simply-Etc." target option. But you might also run into Save/ROM incompatibility if the saves are from a different region version of the game from your ROM.

Like the Kingdom Hearts Re: coded save you linked to doesn't say what version of the game it's for, it could be either the Japanese, American or European release.

pretty sure the shunyweb site is broken, try generating a save for a specific size and see what it outputs, someone else was having problems with it a while ago

(iirc when i tried it, say selected force 512kb, it was outputting random sizes like 134kb etc)

well when you search shunyweb on google there is this page

says the server is broken and they cant fix it.....not sure if that's a old thing, or just that they left the site in a dead broken state to throw people off

Hmm, the link says the save should already be in the correct format for your card. Do the file names match between your ROM and .sav file? Like"Kingdom Hearts Recoded.nds" & "Kingdom Hearts Recoded.sav"? I've encountered issues where there was an extra space in the file name and the ROM didn't see my save file.

Yep I did try your name but mayby you musn't rename your rom.
And like I told before I tried even a pokemon rom and a savegame. Try this one with gateway:

Do you know exactly what you did to get 358/2 Days working? Also there should be a setting in your Blue card's menu to tell it what kind of save files to read.

Hm don't know I just noticed that it has only a nds.sav file.
I'll try downloading with the name you gave me.

But the pokemon issue is also weird how ever I tried many saves on filetrip and no luck either.

Edit: So no luck. I tried the us rom since you are from us and also didn't work.
I guess both regios should work. Or upload the rom for me on mediafire with eventually that save I gave you.
A pokemon save is also nice so I can trade some from retail.

Wait, does your save for 358/2 days end with ".nds.sav"? If that's the case your R4i/Blue Card wants to load save files with an extension ending in "name of rom.nds.sav"

All you should have to do it rename your other saves to match it.

Yey it worked for re:coded. Though I had tried but didn't worked now it did.
So regios won't count it worked for both us and eu.

As for Pokemon try to grab another source for the ROM and use the save file from the torrent with the ".nds.sav" naming format.
