It's the same as the red ring of death on the 360... you have to send it back to nintendo for repair.

PROTIP: Read the manual that came with your DS.

For one that laughs at others for not reading manuals, it doesn't seem that you've read the forum rules regarding file size for avatars and signature. LOL.

Charge your laser DS and the light will go green again.

I'm assuming you got a charger with your DS, did you think it was just there to look pretty?

Because one misinterpreted emoticon completely negates the good advice I gave the guy. I wasn't laughing, actually.
I used the lol emoticon to lighten the tone of my post, because I realise that unlike yourself, I'm not perfect.

But don't let that get in the way of your self righteous indignation, 'coz I can see that's really working for ya.

also, fix'd

lol,

solid green = a-ok
flashing green fast = wi-fi or ad-hoc is on (wireless communication)
flashing green slow = sleep mode
solid red = low battery
flashing red fast = wi-fi or ad-hoc is on with low battery
flashing red slow = sleep mode with low battery
no led = DS is off o_O

Wow, even my by then 7 year old sister understood (the first time she played) that she had to plug in the charger when it lit red, what else could it've been?
it's a portable console after all..

yeah, but anyway.. now you know..

Did'ja think the battery was nuclear or something? You gots to charge the sucker every once in a while my man.

I really hope this was a joke topic.

If you dislike the red light so much buy a 2000mah battery and it will happen far less often

that battery bricked my ds for some reason
I dont believe you.
1. There are multiple suppliers of batteries with varying capacities including more than one with claimed 2000mah capacity
2. The battery only has two connections. A reversal of polarity wouldn't power the DS in the first place and a low voltage situation would act like a low battery. An over voltage could damage the DS but I can't see how this would happen.
3. I searched through all your old threads and I see no mention of this on the forum.
3a. Nearly all of the topics you have posted so far break the forum rules. You quintuple posted the same question in many different forums, asked "whats the best xxx games" where xxx was DS, PSP and Wii and often replied with incomplete information when others asked you for details.

In other words - please don't lie and post when you are bored.

I'm sorry, but this topic is very VERY VERYYYY lame. What retarded DS owner doesn't know why a green LED goes to red...? That proves they shouldn't own a DS. Because who knows what they'll do with it next, maybe throw it at a lightswitch to turn it on since their too lazy? Gtfo nub. Honestly.

P.S: If that person is from another country and not used to electronics. Then very sorry for my above post.
