Gaming DS lite Tecnical Problem Help pls!

Hello I have a Nintendo ds lite.
A few months ago the hinge holder part of the original case broke.
So I replaced it with an expensive shock chrome case but since then I have feww problems.
The ds work with TTds and with original games but I doesn't turn in with supercard dstwo in it. When it works you can hear constant cracking from the speakers.
What should I do?

The DSTwo is a thicker cart, so it might be pressing something tighter than usual.

Yes it should be that but what abouth the constant screeching in the speakers?

That's what I mean, it being thicker means it coumd be pressing two parts together harder than they normally would be, though I'm not familiar with the insides of a DS Lite.
