Do you have a GBA SP or a Micro?

If so, get the DSi, but for the better hinge as opposed to the screen. I don't really notice a big difference with the screen, but I noticed a big difference with the hinge when mine broke! Granted, it lasted a long time, and I played the crap out of it -- and Nintendo gave me a brand new DS for 30 bucks.

If you don't have a GBA SP or a Micro, it's absolutely worth having the Slot-2. The GBA has an enormous library of fabulous, wonderful, excellent games. If you can find a SuperCard Lite for the Slot-2, you're good to go.

On the other hand, if you've got money to burn, a DSi plus either a GBA SP or Micro would be perhaps the way to go.

The backlit GBA SP has the best screen Nintendo has ever made as far as crispness, deep blacks, and vibrant colors goes. And the Micro, while not having very deep blacks, is awesome for its insane smallness.

If you don't have money to burn, then get a DS Lite.

Yellow Wood Goblin updates Wood quite frequently, every 2 weeks to a month.

AKAIO is updated generally bi-monthly, sometimes quarterly, because it really doesn't need it because of the AAP.
