Hacking DS Lite making strange noises

Ok, when I move my DS slightly, or hold it up and put it down, it makes strange clicking noises, sort of like clicking a pen but softer.
I thought it was the volume button (for some reason mine is loose) so I held it down but it was still making the noise.
Held the hinge, top part, buttons, and it still makes the same noise. It's like something slightly knocking.
Never noticed the problem before, this is the third time it's happened :\
Please help me

Could it be your stylus? I have an after market stylus on my ds and its slightly loose and makes a clicking noise too.

When I fully open and close my ds I hear clicking sound too, it is sound of mechanism inside , had my dslite lot's of months and nothing broke so I think it's normal.

Stylus...It could be. But I think i was using it :\
