I have a DS Lite Replacement Case in the mail because my current DS Lite has a broken hinge. I was planning to use GBATemp's Dis/reassembly guide to help with the replacement. I looked through the guide like 10 times and didn't any soldering required but people in the post say that it is required to correctly put the speakers back together? Is that true??? The only place that I saw the word soldering is under the Troubleshooting part of the guide, which is only if you broke your power switch.

I have no clue how to solder, so if this is true then I'm in trouble.
All help is appreciated. Thanks GBATemp.

To replace the case - NO soldering

The speakers are soldered to the top screen, if you need to replace the top screen (one of the common DS faults) then you have to desolder the speakers and solder on to the new screen.

Thanks again Kittymat & clubecgr! When you said the speakers are soldered to the top screen, I'm guessing you're talking about the top LCD. Thanks for the videos clubecgr, this along with GBATemp's Guide is gonna make this replacement a piece of cake.
