Homebrew DS Homebrew Channel

I was just wondering if a homebrew channel, like the one on the wii, would be possible to port to the ds...
Then dsware games could be cracked (possibly).

I doubt I'm the first person to suggest this and I appoligize if it's a repost.
This is just something I was thinking about

No, it has nothing to do with adding stuff to the menu system, it's the fact that the games are encrypted.

yeah, it's a good idea... however it's simply not possible yet.
well it is, but it seems that nobody i know can do it. (thats a lot of people)


sooner or later this may be a reality but lets not dwell on it yet, at least not untill there is a dsi exclusive game that isn't part of dsi-shop. (whatever it's called. i never use it)

best of luck to the first person to actually do this though, breaking into the dsi portion will be a valuable asset to coders.

xD Hacking is ok, cracking is not. Cracking is hacking for malicious (or semi-malicious) intentions, hacking isn't xD.
But onto a different idea, are there any coders that want to make a DS Homebrew Channel (screw DSi xD, alternate DS firmwares own)? Spinal_cord is pretty amazing at making alternate firmwares already though...so as a better question, does anyone want to be spinal_cord's alternate firmware making rival xD?

Cracking is like making a game not have Anti Piracy, or making a program not ask for a serial key.

GameUP is also a homebrew channel/downloader.
And im willing to bet the DSi won't be hacked until at least
summer, so I wouldn't get your hopes up, but there is still a
possibility.
