hi i just wanted to know is it possible to play older ds games on the new 3ds xl on cfw? i wanted to play some advance wars :)

As of now, it is not possible without a flashcart. There is a nds emulator but is not ideal for smooth gaming yet

yea i just got a cheap r4 flashcart for $10. would be nice to launch them from the SD but I rarely play DS games so the flashcart is a good enough solution for me.
