Hacking DS fireline problem - games back up

Hello - can anyone help me out. I am a novice at this DS lite flash card thing, but slowly getting the jist of it. I do however have a message display on some games saying "save information cannot be accessed, please power off and reinsert card" - i am using a DS fireline card. How can i get around this? Thanks.

When the game you want to play is highlighted, look at the top screen. 2 lines down from the title of the game (underneath the image) there should be something like auto or eeprom or flash something. press select + right on the d-pad. there should be 5 modes including auto. try booting up each one until one works. dont change the mode after it works. you will have to change to different modes depending on which game. thanks i could help!!
