The Newest addition to DSi(1.4) compatible flash cards. So new, that the site doesn't even look ready. But from the pictures, it looks like it comes with an extra casing so you can replace the flash cards shell so It'll look like a regular game. Which means if you choose to do so, you'll have to open up the shell to take out the micro sd card to change firmware or add games.

here goes: http://www.dsfire2.com/index.html

EDIT: DX has better screen shots. Have a look http://www.dealextreme.com/photogallery.dx/sku.30660~seQ.5

from the looks of it the sd slot is on the side so no, you will not need to disassemble to take out sd card...

Don't see why would I need to replace the flash card shell...its not like cops or nintendo are checking everyone who's playing DS

and have to open it every time to add games or change firmware?? Eh...No thanks

I'm guessing no. 'cause for starters, it uses a micro sd for storage. But it would be too early to tell.

But why do you say that? Have a bad experience with one?

It's just an option for the highly cautious. I for one couldn't care less about the cops finding out.(it would look pretty unique though.)

no one is that highly cautious to be changing the shell. unique...maybe. I would't care tho.
and the problem is not even that. its that you have to open the shell so you can add more games or change the firmware.
no one is that stupid to open the shell while u can just get out your micro sd card on acekard or another card with just ONE FINGER

Except people like me, who rarely change the game on their SD card and would like their cartridge to look like an original cartridge.

Still no reason for me to buy this though.

Yeh it does look kinda silly the way it is made

I may get one 'turns on anti-flame shield' just to see what its like, seems fun

plus u never no it might turn out to be the most amazing cart ever with the best gui in the world, or not, most prob the latter

I understand where you're coming from. The ease of pushing out your card over opening it up. That's obviously a major hassle. And like I said before it's just an option. We can't say anything else about this card until someone reviews it.

PS:C175R, your picture totally goes with your attitude towards this card

This makes me think it would be fun to put a commercial sticker over my AK's sticker. It's enough to confuse most people.

looks like a dstti clone although it does have the acekard 2 dldi file in it it doesnt run on the ak2
No f***** way! I didn't expect it to have the ak2 dldi, what's stopping it from running?
