Sadly it doesn't work with the R4i SDHC card and latest firmware 1.28 - twin white screens! Doh!

Time to buy a non-shit card.
I recommend a DSTwo, it can play pretty much every new release without flaw, it's remarkable.

Firmware 1.29 cured it. All is good.
