My friend told me that he heard about a new Nintendo DS with 2 touch screen. I searched on Internet but find no information about that.

Could be fun 2 touch screen

Just rumors at this point. Nintendo would be stupid to release another DS revision right now.

Wow.. You are really gullible...

If they made a new DS with 2 touch screens, that means it'd be a new system entirely. Older DS's wouldn't have two touch screens, thus rendering the games unplayable on an old model.

Your friend is retarded.

First off, the GBC was pretty retarded.

Secondly, the added benefit of two touch screens is negligible. Most games have a screen swap button giving it basically the same functionality as having two touch screens.

hmh lol two touch screens. Ds is selling well they won't be doing new handheld in a while. Maybe some third version of DS, like "DS Shiny"
...

Epic failure, seriously. And if you had 2 touch screens, gaming would be ruined because you'll have to constantly switch between the screens, and that would be a pain in the ass.

I thought this was on about touch screen which is able to detect 'double touch' (like, having 2 points on the touch screen registering input)

But yea... 2 touch screens is pretty dumb... lol

It could be the same as switching screens in, for example, Zelda, but that would be pretty pointless.

You could say that two screens in general ruin gaming, as you'll have to switch between the screens (in terms of looking).

well at first maybe two touch screens seems stupid. But thinking about it, it might just not be that bad. Think about the possibillities for two player games on one ds, like table tennis or other games when you send thing back and forth between the screens. Or for a drum simulator it could be great. Easier to use both hands on two screens and knowing Nintendo they would surely come up with some two screens functions that would blow our minds

or not. I'm not sure if there will ever be a double touch ds though but I think there absolutely could be some use for it...and I know I have been trying to use the second screen as a touch screen sometimes on my ds....

I think you can already do it. Order a touchscreen from a website and replace it with the top TFT screen. There you go two touch screens...one unusable..
