Hacking ds chipping

Can elaborate on what it is that you want your DS to do. Do want to be able to play homebrews and roms?

Unsure why this is in this section but http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=34130 it is a bit out of date (ds slot cards are "on the horizon" apparently) but as a basic grounding it works.

You don't need chip your DS, all you have to do is get a flashcard. There are different types of flashcards, picking one all depends on what you want to use it for and how much you want to spend. I would recommend reading the review section of this website. If you have any questions, just ask it.

I would recommend getting a R4 DS, it can only play NDS backups and homebrews, read about it here:http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=41279. The only other thing that you would have to buy is a micro sd card.
