Well, I replaced it with that one, but we still need the Europe version of the pic. The one showing is the USA version pic.

Game seems to work fine on CycloDS, BTW.

Oh wow, I didn't know we were getting another Trackmania any time soon.

If it weren't for Etrian Odyssey III and Pokemon White, I'd go out and buy this now. I guess I'll wait for a little while, though.

The graphics are nice and it plays well enough I guess. Building your own tracks is great, as is having 100+ pre-made tracks in the game for you to play through.

But I guess I just don't like Trackmania games in general. I like racing other opponents to win, not ghost cars for lap times. A Lack of a real "race" mode kinda puts a damper on the game for me. I don't have any A.I. cars to slam into walls or spin-out, they're just ghosts and you go right through them. AWW!

I guess the problem for me is that it's designed to be a multi-player game and I'm a single-player type of guy. I don't know.....I never play multi-player mode on any game.

I'm noticing conflicting info between sites about the Wi-Fi and number of tracks in this game. Some places are saying online Wi-Fi, others suggest the Wi-Fi is only local multiplayer......some say 100+ tracks, some say nearly 200. So what Wi-Fi modes does it really have? (I don't see any Wi-Fi logo on the boxart

) How many tracks? How many can you create and save? The info on this game is obscure to say the least. What are you supposed to believe? Some sites seem to have "Turbo" cross-referenced with the original Trackmania DS game, further adding to the information confusion.

Heh, I guess you could say, "BTFG & RTFM" to find out for sure.

On the flip side, this is why a lot of people like it. It's a true race in that there's no lame last minute crash by some other guy that causes you to lose. You're competing for the best time.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
