The Book was actually really worth reading, so this might could be an interesting game.
Especially if you are trying to learn some advanced German.

Da fällt mir grad die Family Guy Folge ein in der Stewie sich über Schokoriegel mit Trauben aufregt..

"Oh ja ich hab Lust auf was süßes, ich ess jetzt Gemüse mit meiner Schokolade

"

Ich finde es schon wichtig, die Grammatik seiner Sprache ordentlich zu beherrschen.
Aber daß mit diesem Spiel die Zielgruppe erreicht wird, wage ich dennoch zu bezweifeln...

Remember: Dativ = Genitiv's Tod.
Falsch, im deutschen wird beim Genitiv der Apostroph nicht gesetzt -> Dativ = Genitivs Tod
Das ist nur im Englischen so.

Translation: Wrong. there is no apostophe for genitiv in german!
This is the case for english only.

z.B. e.g.
Sarahs Auto
Sarah's car

come on people, this is an english speaking forum..stop with the german language please, and somebody please translate what has been said so far...form those that don't know. GBAtemp should be posted on in English, as most people here actually speak it, not other languages..

Well, although I have read the first two books of the author, I do not like his affection at all. He mostly refers to local dialects and their grammar, and to
sociolects as well.
Just another freakin know-it-all, who is not even a linguist >.

Actually, I'm quite looking forward to the game, once my German is capable of understanding it well. Pity there isn't a "My German Couch", just the freaky 3-D Mind Your Language version, I would grab it immediately!

The game is about the German language, made by Germans for Germans. What does it matter if people speak German here?

There will always be people complaining, that's it... xD

Phew... back to topic... I don't really think that this game will reah those who would be in need for it. ^^" You wouldn't guess the nasty slang our youth has... I could slap them everytime I hear their speak... *shudders*
And as for myself, I've never learned any grammar rules, either I'm right with what i pick from experience and feeling or not, who cares? ^^
