How come this release and "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" have the same release number: #4430: Disney's A Christmas Carol (Europe)
#4430: Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? (Europe)

Wow. How do you make a game out of this story?

This is what you call pushing the envelope of shovelware.

Disney bought some more rights.

Disney was supposed to be good at making movies.
Then they started making all this kinda crap
They also make stupid movies now.

Only pixar movies are good

It's based on the movie which is based on the story by Charles Dickens, I presume, so I don't see how it's hard to imagine a game being made.

yeah at least there's a STORY to make into a game. there's plenty of "shovelware" that doesn't even have that going for it...

Reading previews of the game, it at least seems like an interesting concept that hasn't been done on the DS to death: you don't play as Scrooge. You play as the environment around him and you influence it with the stylus to progress through levels.

The one level I heard described has Scrooge walking through the town being annoyed by Christmas cheer, so you have to use the stylus to take down decorations and banners.

It kind of sounds like the awesomely-classic Pac Man 2: The New Adventures *cough*I know I'm the only one who liked that game*cough*
